The Heart Behind Thrive in Grace
Thrive in Grace has been an idea in the making for many years. After working and managing services in social care and then becoming a qualified teacher, I saw the challenges faced by many families and knew I wanted to make a difference. Having moved from Manchester to London, and then to Northamptonshire, I witnessed the educational challenges faced by many children with additional needs and longed to create a more holistic support system for families to thrive with the grace of understanding. That is where Thrive in Grace started to emerge. My background in social care and education has driven me to strive to provide the change that's needed in the lives of many families.

Inclusion for All
The idea of providing support just for SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) families never felt right. When we limit support to specific groups, we risk creating another form of segregation. True inclusion works across boundaries and seeks to break down barriers. We cannot improve inclusion for children with additional needs without including all families in our support model. We aim to foster community connections for everyone.

What Makes Us Different
Thrive in Grace is unique because we are truly inclusive. We are passionate about creating spaces where children with additional needs feel safe, loved, and accepted by their peers. To achieve this, we aim to actively create opportunities to teach kindness and empathy to all. This is something I always strived for in my teaching practice, and it remains a core value at Thrive in Grace. We aim to provide holistic, compassionate support for families raising children with additional needs — helping them access education, respite, and community life with dignity and confidence in Northampton and surrounding areas.
